SB363 regarding the SLP Assistant Licensure has been revised and amended to remove any reference to the Apprentice (ASL) license. The current language in Statute referring to licensure and scope of practice for the Apprentice will remain the same without any changes. The substitute fill for SB363 only includes language to license SLP Assistants in two tracks: Associates Degree and Bachelors Degree with 100 hours of clinical training and experience. Please contact Dr. Michael Kaplan at firstname.lastname@example.org if you have questions or concerns.
